Lazers U16A softball team make Provincial Final

on Saturday Conquest beat the Regina Royals 4 to 2 and Southeast Hawks beat the Twin City Angels 8 to 1. The tournament was to be completed on Sunday but was postponed to later this week due to rain. Once play continues Conquest will pay the Southeast Hawks in a quarterfinal game. The winner of that game then plays Prince Albert in the semi-final game.
The U16A champion will qualify as the Saskatchewan representative at the Canadian championships in Brampton, Ontario running August 13 to 17. The second and third place finishers will qualify as the Saskatchewan representatives at the Western Canadian Championships in Duncan, BC running August 7 to 10.
