RESCHEDULED - Opening Ceremonies/Park Cleanup
Opening ceremonies have been re-scheduled to Sunday May 6th: 10:00 Park Cleanup 11:00 Opening Ceremonies For cleanupLazers Diamonds assignments are Squirt & Bantam 3, Pee Wee 4 & Learn to Play 12 plus outside adjacent fence for cleanup.
Notes on cleanup:
- Players should wear uniforms.
- Go directly to your designated diamond
- Coaches will pick up garbage bags from the table near the Staples.
- Players should not pick up needles or any other sharp object and instead call a parent.
- Bring rakes and work/gardening gloves if possible
- Please get all garbage picked up including bottle caps, glass, paper, cigarette butts, loose leaves etc.
- There will be a garbage bin in the Staples parking lot where garbage bags can be dumped when you are done cleanup.
- Once an area is cleaned up there are donuts/drinks for the kids available near the rink.
- At approximately 10:45 zones will start forming up to march into the opening ceremonies in Zone order. The opening ceremonies are on diamond #1. Lazers with Learn to play first, then Squirt, PeeWee, and Bantam.
- On diamond #1 zones will fill up the outfield with the smallest players at the front. Lazers on 1st base.
